With IBM OS Release 6.0 support has been added for the IBM 5317, and
 IBM 5327 Japanese printers.

 To configure the 5227/5317/5327 printers for operation, the following
 needs to be done:

 1. In the spooler_configuration.tin file that resides in 
    (master_disk)>system>configuration, set the device_protocol
    field as follows.

   ibm5227   : device_protocol  4
   ibm5327   : device_protocol  5
   ibm5317   : device_protocol  6

 2. If this is a change to the spooler_configuration.tin file, create
    a new spooler_configuration.table file and copy it into the
    (master_disk)>system directory.

    (For information on creating files, refer to the System Admini-
     strator's Guide.)

 3. Define the ibm5227.ttp using the define_terminal_type command.

 4. Use the update_channel_info command to set the terminal_type for
    the port to ibm5227, using the -reset option.

    NOTE: The ibm5227.ttp terminal_type can be used for all three
      printers (5227/5317/5327).

 5. Rename aetab.table.init in (master_disk)>system>configuration
    to aetab.table and copy it into (master_disk)>system directory.

 6. Login the spooler.
