Manual OrganizationThis manual has three chapters and two appendixes. Chapter 1 introduces the FTP and TELNET utilities and discusses the technical terms and concepts that are common to both utilities. Chapter 2 explains how to use the FTP utility. Chapter 3 explains how to use the TELNET utility.

To begin an FTP session, you log in to your Stratus system and issue the FTP command, Slanted font represents general terms that are to be replaced by literal values. In the following example, the user must replace the slanted-font term with an actual value.
